The Franklin Zoo Charitable Trust is no longer fund raising or taking donations. Thanks to so many generous people who have supported our very successful efforts at re-locating all our animals and birds to new homes.
The Franklin Zoo Charitable Trust has fulfilled Dr Schofield’s mission for its animals and are happy to have found appropriate new homes for all 420 animals and birds to facilities which have the skill base to properly care for their individual welfare needs. This has been a long process due to the fact that this was the last port of call for a lot of these animals and we are grateful for such a fantastic outcome - not one animal will be put down due to the lack of a good home!
